Meet the Clinician
Welcome—I’m glad you’re here. My name is Madison Bishop, and I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervision Credentials, in the State of Ohio (I.2204110-SUPV). I provide in person services in Lancaster, OH and virtual services throughout the state. I’m dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space for individuals seeking growth and healing.
My approach to therapy is rooted in kindness, empathy, and understanding. I believe that everyone’s story is unique, and I strive to meet each person where they are with compassion and respect. Whether you are navigating life transitions, managing stress, working through trauma, or simply seeking greater self-awareness, my goal is to walk alongside you with encouragement and care.
I am committed to inclusivity and creating an environment where you feel heard, valued, and supported. Together, we will work at a pace that feels comfortable for you, always guided by your goals and needs.
Therapy is not just about challenges—it’s also about growth, resilience, and rediscovering your strengths. It is my privilege to support you on this journey.
Please rest assured, I am hopeful my experience is able to help you along in your mental health journey. If needed, I have no concerns about also helping you find services elsewhere that are a better fit for you.
I use a mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, EMDR interventions, Shame interventions, Polyvagal interventions, ADHD informed care, Strengths based and Solution Focus interventions in sessions. These practices help me to tailor each session to my client’s needs.
My educational history consists of a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Bluffton University in 2016 and a Master’s of Social Service Administration (also known as a Master’s of Social Work) from Case Western Reserve University in 2020.
