Types of Assessments
We offer a detailed initial intake assessment, at the start of services. This can take between one or more sessions to gather all information needed. We also will provide re-assessments through your time in services due to understanding how the therapeutic relationship can help a client feel more comfortable with sharing. Initial intakes can sometimes feel overwhelming. We like to go at a speed clients are comfortable with.
Please note if you would like to have a Conners or CAARS completed, it will take two or more sessions based on the length of assessment.

Explores an individual's biological, psychological, and social factors to understand their current health and well-being. The goal is to gather a holistic view by examining medical history, substance use, emotional states, coping skills, family dynamics, social support, and environmental factors to develop a personalized treatment plan.

A series of widely used rating scales designed to measure symptoms and impairments associated with ADHD and related problems in children and adolescents. Administered to parents, teachers, and sometimes the individual themselves, it uses a Likert-type scale to rate specific behaviors over the past month. The results are interpreted using standardized T-scores, with higher scores indicating greater severity of symptoms, to aid in diagnosis and treatment monitoring.

A standardized assessment used by clinicians to evaluate adults for ADHD, providing multi-informant perspectives (self-report and observer reports) to gauge the severity and nature of symptoms. The assessment is available in long, short, and screening versions, and it measures various behaviors like inattention/memory problems, hyperactivity/restlessness, impulsivity/emotional lability, and problems with self-concept. Its scores are compared to normative and ADHD reference samples to inform clinical diagnoses and treatment plans.
